A Lee Load All for $40 is a cheap alternative that you can set up just for reloading short hulls. They work just fine, especially if you have a powder scale.

KHughes,

The issue I have is I want to roll crimp the shells. The dies for my PW375 are to tight to allow the shell to drop out. I have to push them on station one which means that I would crush the uncrimped hull. I am looking for an older Pacific single stage press to reload with. That should eliminate the problem. If anyone has one, let me know.

If you have the 375C (taper crimp w/short die) go to the station past the final crimp and drop the die and shell out together. Roll crimp, put the die & shell back in then remove shell at station 1.

Andy,

I do have the 375C set with the short die. But my roll crimper is the older hand cranked type and would require the shell to be removed from the die. I could order a drill operated crimper and give this a try though. Thanks for the idea. As long as the shell does not spin in the die, this should work.
