Has anybody ever seen a 3" 16 ga. shot shell, or knows of a gun that is chambered for it? You would assume 3" shells would be for ducks or geese, but the over shot wad indicates #9 shot. (I am new to this list, so if you've already discussed this subject, would someone please fill me in or steer me in that direction.) Thanks! |

The only 3" 16ga factory orig gun I've ever seen was a Win M 21. Unfortunately, I passed on it. Was just out of school and although the gun was not what I felt to be unreasonably priced, I just didn't have the $$$ to buy it. Have never seen another one since. Believe the 3" 21 was another one of John Olin's projects that never caught on. |
