For sale, Darne 16ga. 27 1/2 barrel appears to be cyl. and full choke. I think the gun has been restocked as it is a straight grip [english] and has a high comb. Wood is very good with just one minor mark and checkering is clean and sharp. outside the gun has 80% blue on barrels. Reciever is bright and has fine line engraving. I do not know what model it is. It says darne on the top lever. Now the bad part, the barrels have quite a lot of pitting inside and the safty does not work [ I can pull the triggers and they will snap with or without the safty being on] This gun came from a estate and I have no info on it. I will start the gun at $500 and sell to the best offer. I can email pictures to email address as requested. My email is mccubbin@vfr.net this one is for you Ted Schefelbein.... And no this is not the evil gun......Del |

Del,
Thanks for thinking about me, but, one Darne is all I'm ever going to need. No offense intended, but, this one sounds 'kinda rough-I've moved on from project guns these days.
Best of luck selling it.
Best,
Ted |

Northern California? Are you anywhere close to the Bay Area? I'd like to take a look and see where we go from there. |
