Can anyone give me information on a model I'm not familiar with. I found an Ithaca model 1 1/2 in 16 bore with damascus bbls. The frame is engraved with the art deco style of the Flues model. I fell in lust with this gun, but I'm not familiar with it. Can you help with any information? |

Brent, the Flues Quality 1 1/2 meant that it had Damascus Steel barrels rather than the Twist Steel used on the Quality 1. Later the Quality 1 1/2 had Fluid Steel barrels and the Quality 1 had Nitro Steel barrels.
Made from 1898 to 1919. The large leaf engraving is added in 1915. |

The floral engraving was introduced on the No. 1 1/2 in 1915 --

The Flues will have the short chamber most likely, but you probably already know that
