Looks like this has turned into a WA thread! Never hunted WA intentionally, but perhaps made it over the line between WA and N ID a time or two when I was at the U of I in the mid 70's! Younger Bro went to WSU and with the rivalry back then between WSU and the U of I, I always rooted for U of W when WSU and UW had any sporting event going on.
I have the Rem 11 Sportsman with the full choke 30" barrel and haven't used it much in the last few years. I'll drag it out and look over the checkering pattern! Thanks for the valuable information, Researcher. As usual, very informative! |

IDcut, North Idaho is fine with me, my mother grew up in DeSmet. Sounds like we have similar Model 11.

Yes it does sound like it Salish and growing up on the more eastern side of Benewah county, I know the Desmet, Tensed, Plummer area well. |
