Hard crowd. I mean just because he is a heathen and likes a pistol grip......
TJ, does that get me a spot where you hunt?

Any time. And we'll leave huns to hunt with his swamplab dog. IF, the chubby little thing can make it through the brush. |

If I was hunting purely to eat. I would always use a pistol grip. Whenever a friend borrows my Merkel with a pistol grip, they marvel at how good it feels.
I do mainly hunt with English stocks, I shoot them well. But I do love the pistol grip double triggers on a fine sxs. |

Don't let 'em wear you down, TJC. You're a gentleman and a scholar. Of 'course, I'm a notoriously poor judge of character!
Got the NID out a couple times. Solid as a rock. Choked tight. Now relearning to shoot a SxS and two-trigger gun. It's going to take some practice, but the little gun grabs at my heart.
I see a Uggie in my future ... so the NID won't have to shoulder too much of the load and will have another SxS to talk to in the safe.
Heading to the club now and just taking the Benelli SuperSport 12 ga. (gasp!). Want to see what she'll do with some 1 oz loads. (In a whisper: For a black and stainless autoloader, it's a pretty nice gun.)
Bust 'em up, boys. |
