I am curious why the interest in the Model 24. Seeing as how I have four I thought I was the only person that was hung up on them. I just ordered four sets of extractor springs for mine, as two have weak springs, and I am sure the other two are not far behind. All gauges use the same spring. |

The 24 16 IMO is the best 16 for the money.I have two and have shot three different ones a bunch.I have found them to have something extra, when it comes to hitting a target. When ever I have a young person, or old for that matter that is having trouble hitting ,I put one in there hands, and its amazing how fast they start hitting.Part of it being the gun ,and part of it being a 16.
You can make one look fancy if you want to, and still not have a bunch of money in it. |

I picked up a 16 gauge that looked brand new. Shells would get stuck in it often. Since I have the equipment, I measured the chambers, and they were oblong! It appears the press that held and welded the block on the bottom of the receiver squeazed a little too hard. I had a gunsmith clean them up to a nice tight round chamber. I have two 16, one 20, and one 12 gauge Model 24. Like 'em all! |

There's one for sale on shotgunworld in the sxs for sale section...the seller just lowered the price. I've no interest with the gun and don't know the seller, the pics are decent and it looks to be in pretty good shape. |
