I have for sale a Stevens / Savage Model 77C 16 ga pump. 28" barrel, 14 1/4 LOP and, I believe, a full choke. The barrrel has "*" marked on it, and while I'm not certain about Stevens, that indicates a full choke for other makers. This gun is actually in pretty nice condition. The blueing is dark and in very good shape, not perfect, but nice. The wood has no cracks or gouges, but it could use a re-finishing. Originsl plastic butt plate. This would make a good back-up / crappy weather gun, or an inexpensive gift for that young shooter on your list. Start em out with a 16! This gun was made in 1958 so it can ship to a C&R, regular FFL, or face to face in North East Illinois with valid FOID.
$175 shipped. I also have a second 77C 16ga I'd sell too. It has the barrel shortened to about 25 inches so it is cylinder bore, and has more wear than the pictured gun. Interested in a package deal?
Thanks, JOHN |

Joe, I sent a PM, but it does not show in my "Sent Box", so I don't know if you got it.
I do want both these Stevens Pumps. I see the 28" 'er is $175 shipped, What would your price be for both shipped?
Please email me at:

I have to leave now, but will respond tonight.
Thanks!

I received both these Stevens 77C 's today. The one pictured is indeed full choke, and the condition is excellent, just as shown, though the finish on the stock's wrist is actually a little better than the photos would lead you to believe. The one not shown with the cut barrel is 25" cyl bored, and shows "loving use" from over the years. Both actions cycle smoothly, and are ready for me to run a few shells through this week end!
Thanks, John! I know you wanted these to go to a good home, and I will appreciate them!
