I have a 16ga sxs JC Higgins model 101.7 sold by sears & roebuck.( Its the same as the Stevens Mod. 311.)
The stock is one of the plactic style. Someone thought the stock was craced and drilled a hole thru it and put a plug in it thinking that would tighten the stock up. That was not the problem. All it need was a long screwdriver to go dowm the inside of the stock to tighten the bolt. The stock is plenty tight.
The stock looks like it had a lot of use but the barrels and reciever look almost like new.
There is no pitting inside or outside of the barrels. Blueing is 95%. The reciever is case harden and the color is 95%. The metal is in very good shape. If interested PM me. Price is 250.00 |
