I was just trying to post pics on this site and figured the best ones to try with in case they worked were, The Girls. My 2 and 4 yr old Drahthaars. Reba age 4 is the lighter one and Dixie age 2 is the darker one.

Damn they're beautiful. Very Happy

Nah, I'm not a proud Dad. Yea right.

Belive me, I try REALLY hard not to think about the girls. Hate to say it ,bu the kat is more exciting than the gestapo girls.... And he looks better to boot.

Lovely girls indeed. Smile

I haven't met many Drahthaars. What are their personalities like?

Personality is very sweet and wanting to please. Love to hunt. Reba can be a bit aggresive towards other dogs when they come up to her face. But she will hunt side by side with any dog. Except maybe a certain Lab from New England area. Razz
They will hunt all day long without stopping. One thing you have to be aware of for their own good. Otherwise they'll hunt till they drop.
They're good for upland in the AM, ducks in the afternoon and they'll track a blood trail of a wounded deer. Very versatile.

Good looking wiskerd dogs indeed. The darker one is is the better looking of the 2 because she is closer to the color of a pudelpointer. I would post a photo of Wyatt but I don't know how and I wouldn't want you to be green with envy. But I'll give you credit TJC they are great dogs they would be my 2nd choice of dogs. Sorry that was a low blow. I guess I lost those empty's.[/img]

Nah, I've got thick skin. I've been around Huns too long. The way he knocks The Girls I had to develop Kevlar skin. Very Happy

They are indeed a load of fun to hunt with. I can't wait for even the preserves to open in Sept. Very Happy
Regular season starts in Nov.
