Okay-lets speculate a little and look ahead. The 20 guage RBL's are now being distributed and look great. What next?
Would you have an interest in a 16 guage RBL at a price of $2900.00?
If yes, what options would you select from those offered for the 20 gauge? |

In a heart beat I would.
Straight stock, 14-3/4" LOP, two triggers, upgraded wood, BTFE, and no choke tubes if I had that option. |

Case colored, 14 3/4 LOP,straight grip, double triggers, splinter fore end. If this came to pass, I think the number of 16 bores ordered would surprise the industry, but thats just an opinion. |

Yes, definitely! I'd be willing to bet that Nick would sell a surprisingly high number of RBLs in 16...the best gauge there is!
I'd like a straight grip, 15' LOP, upgraded wood, single trigger and beavertail forend. OK I know single trigger and beavertail make me a Philistine, but I have become so used to a single that double trigs make me crazy. Also, I have big hands so I get hit every time I pull the back trigger. This is also why I only go for beavertail forearms.
You know what they say...big hands...
big feet! Gotcha!

I'd have gone for one in 16, but ordered a 1620 instead. Maybe there's room for both in the safe.
In the RBL I'd want double trigger, pistol grip, 14 3/4 pull, and case colors.
If they were offered, I'd prefer 15 1/4 pull and 30" tubes.

Those would sell just fine, I'm certain. There are some very nice looking spanish and italian guns in that price range, and up. Let these get their reputation for reliability and 16's or 28's should gain long waiting lists. Couldn't imagine prices holding at under 3k.

They'd definitely have to change the case interior color for me to buy one ! |

Yupper, but wouldn't wait for 2 yrs. No gun is worth that wait to me.
Double triggers, pistol grip, opening assist, chokes etc.
In lieu of this, I've got a Merkel 1620 coming with Briley chokes. |

Yup, in a heartbeat. Where can I send my cc number??
Make mine upgraded wood, stright hand grip, ST, splinter, satin blacking and can we tone down that shiny finish a tad?? Oh, and no choke tubes either.
I'm gonna wait till these first out guns get "road tested" a bit over this hunting season before I order mine tho.

Yep, would place the order for a 16 today.
I think I'd go straight hand, splinter, upgraded wood, 14 3/4" LOP, dual triggers, case coloring. |

Gotta go with the Rev: if I was gonna spend 3 grand on a shotgun, it'd be the down payment on a nice AE Fox, VH Parker, or upper grade NID. Not lookin' to pick a fight with anybody; that's just where my heart lies. I hope ya'll get your wish with a 16ga RBL; sure it'd be a nice gun!
