... Nope. Both of my springers are hopelessly gun shy. Both are just pets.

No, I never had a 16 ga. until 2007 after I found this site.

Mostly use a 16 ga..

Mostly O/U, some sxs. Just bought a 16 ga. semi auto but have not hunted with it.

No.

Don't reload

I don't own a dog. Mostly hunt with friends who have pointing dogs

No, Too young but I hope to when they get a little older.

1. No - bought my first 16 over 15 years ago.

2. Yes (see #1 above)

3. I used to hunt, but don't now, but if I did I would use a 16 about half the time.

4. I shoot very little, usually just to test a gun. If I were to go back to hunting, I would rotate between a SxS, pump and auto.

5. Just getting back into shot shell reloading after many years. Don't have everything I need yet.

6. I'll be doing plastic first.

7. Don't have a dog.

8. No spouse now.

9. No kids.

10. No grandkids.

(My answers to questions 7 through 10 may help explain why am able to own a number of 16ga guns )

Yes. First shotgun I had was my great grandfather's M12 16ga made in 1912.

Dogs are better companions. Don't have spouse. The ones I've had didn't hunt. "That dog won't hunt."

Girls. Used to when younger. They shoot some but don't hunt.

1. Has this forum influenced you to buy your first 16 Ga. gun? No. Gene Hill did, when I was a kid. I had a misguided youth spent reading outdoors magazines. I just didn't get around to spending the money for years after getting the bug.

2. Did you own and use 16 Ga. gun prior to joining this forum? I think I got one about the same time. For many years prior to moving to Maine I'd lived in a NJ town (because of work) where I was told "the chief [of police] doesn't want anyone to have guns" to dissuade me (successfully) from seeking a firearms purchaser's ID card, which limited my guns to the ones I'd had before.

Sometimes- I have a 28, a 20, two 16s and a two 12s and enjoy using them all.

Reloaded 12 and 28 in the past. Just kind of got away from it.
