Beautiful 16 gauge Philadelphia Sterlingworth, rock tight action. On-face. 2 3/4" chambers. Excellent blueing and wood for age of this gun. Case colors still good. 28" full & modified chokes. 14 1/2" pull. Drop at heel 3". Sserial number 365XXX. This gun is as tight and shootable as they come. Has taken many grouse and pheasants for me.
$1,200.00 OBO. prefer FTF, but will ship if buyer pays shipping.

Condition of bores? Any dents or depressions? Has the hinge pin been doctored/dented/shimmed? |

Is this gun still available? Have the chambers been lengthened? Any dents on the barrels? |

The gun was made in about 1929. Fox Sterlingworth 16's did not routinely come with 2-3/4" chambers until about 1934. It's good that it has 2-3/4" chambers as it is a more usable hunting shotgun. Though nice, it's probably not a collectible Fox anyway. |

Can you provide an accurate weight for this gun? |
