This Spring someone started a post regarding puppy pictures. I thought we should share the pups progress.

Here is Birch at a recent training session.

Nice pup!

I HOPE to have some pup pictures of my own this year. I am sadly realizing that my 12 1/2 year old GWP's career is at its end. I like having two dogs down at a time, so I'm on a waiting list for another Drahthaar pup to pair up with my 7 1/2 year old DD.

Thanks. He is from October Setters in Idaho and his sire/dam was River x Spice. It was the last breeding for Spice but River is still at stud. River is 3/4 Ryman type blood and 1/4 Pine Coble. Spice is 5/8 Ryman, 1/4 Pine Coble and 1/8 Smith (field trial).

We need more puppy pictures.

Here you go Mike. Thicket just turned 5 months old.

She's starting to hunt the brush.....even if she's not quite sure what is it she's hunting for Very Happy .

14 year old Hattie gets a sniff of woodcock to bring back the memories while Thicket waits her turn.

For the GSP lovers, here's 4 1/2 month old Rebel looking stylish while getting a nose full of bird.

Nice looking dog. I ran shorthairs for over 30 years and I still have one that is 13 1/2 and she still hunts.

Left to right: Abby, 4 years.; Cash, 6 mos.; Red, 6 years; Willa, 6 mos.
Weekend before last in Louisville, Ga. with my wife's cousins for dog work. Abby and Willa own me, Cash and Red own my wife's cousins. This was Willa's first exposure to birds and gunfire and she was up to the drill. Cash, her littermate, is an old pro having been on birds for almost 2 months. Red and Abby are full siblings from different litters, all have the same sire. Willa and Abby are a regular Britcom, seven nights a week, in our household. Gil
