I've just found myself a Baikal IZH-58 16ga SXS...no more 12ga for me
The problem is that in an attempt to mount a butt plate one of the previous owners put a terrible crack in the stock.
Does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement butt stock? |

Spraiski,
Welcome to the 16 ga world and the 16 ga Society forum. I myself do not have any experience with replacement stock. The link rowengarner posted seems to have a solid following of the Baikal.
Tell me, what fowl do you plan on using this shotgun for? What turned you on to the 16?

Thanks for the link rowengarner. Hopefully I can find out a bit more about my new toy
Chopper - The only fowl that I go after is the clay variety. I was turned onto the 16 by this gun, it just felt right when I picked it up, and the price was right with the previous owners ugly stock crack (and subsequent ugly repair).
Even if I am unable to get a replacement stock, it just means that I get to practice my whittling skills.
