It has the FS. I kind of figured it was a fausti stefano. And it has a BI mark so it was made in 1997. So i think this barrel should work for it: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/Products/767660D.htm

I think I'll wait a while and see if i can find a silver 32 gauge with 26" barrels. If i can't find one in say a year, then I'll probably settle and get the 24" barrels if they are still available.

I own a American arms silver2 about 12or so years ago, (made in Italy). It was a very
good gun I shot a lot of birds with it. My only problem with it was fixed chokes. I traded it in on a Browning Citori 16ga .I wish I had kept the silver2 it never FTF like
the DAMN Browning.

Did the 24 gauge barrel you bought end up working on your gun? I own 3 Silver IIs 20,24,and 32 gauge. I bought extra 24,32, and a 410 barrel and not a single barrel I bought will fit any of my guns. The guns and the barrels are all Fausti Zoli design with the barrel selector in front of the triggers . All the marks on the factory barrels and the bought extra barrels match , both sets of 24 and 32s were even made the same year in 1992 but they won’t fit. My factory barrels have oval shaped vent holes in between the barrels , the extras have rectangular, the flat piece on the factory barrels where they sit down on the receiver is thinner than the bought barrels so the ejector dimples that stick out the sides don’t line up with the groove they ride in inside the receiver.
I’ve been waiting for a 28 gauge or 410 to show up for sale with the rectangular holes between the barrels so I can buy it and maybe the $750 worth of barrels I bought will fit it.

Yes, I fitted 24 gauge barrels to a 28 gauge gun.
Took a bit of work but they now function just fine Smile

I’m not gonna do any kinda work on mine to force fit a barrel and chance something happening to ruin one of the guns. My 24 and 32 gauge guns both look pretty much new still and I prefer they stay that way. I do know that their barrels will interchange with each other though. Fausti apparently made the Silver II Zoli design guns two different ways.
