I thought I posed this to the board before, but after a fruitless search I must impose on you to ask again, with the attached caveat:
It makes me look like Pancho Villa, but a shell belt really works for me, as loose shells in my pockets are a distraction. Having difficulty finding a leather shell belt in 16ga. Someone suggested wetting the leather and putting them in the 20 ga belt I have. Tried it, no luck. Anyone have a source?

I did a number of searches- my known suppliers, as well as google. I would not have bothered people had I not bothered to do my research. Thanks for the links.

Thought I'd follow up with the results. Thanks to your help, especially Birdswatter for providing the link, I ended up with a high quality belt at a very good price. In fact, Nevada Gunleather was 1/3 to half the other sites.
Thanks again to everyone for their help.

Glad you found one, Mike. I have one from Orvis in 12 gauge. I found it on Ebay some time back at a substantial discount. Don't really use it, but it looks very cool hanging in the den, full of shells! Regards. |
