Ivory Beads has literally dozens of Parkers just in last weeks. In all they brought back 150 vintage guns a great percentage of those are Parkers. Check out thier website ivorybeads.com. The owners Jim and Jerry are stand up guys . Tell them the crazy shotgunning Priest recommended them .

Thou hast led us goats into sin, hath already checked the website, and the new guns don't seem to be there yet Rolling Eyes
Yea, though a Parker toting priest hath led us Baptists astray... Very Happy

Rev, you have to look under new arrivals. Nothing to get excited about. Wink I didn't see dozens. Saw about 4 or 5, and most are Repros.

They haven't had time to list the stuff yet - they have so much new inventory that they can't display it all .
And for the good Dr Rev: Verily verily I say unto thee , the goats needeth no leading to the path that takest them to sin .
By there vanity guns you will know them

WOW! I haven't handled or even seen that many Parkers in one place, ever! These guns have not been added to the website yet. I saw most of the 16's, one beautiful VHE (almost came home with me, but the stock is cast-on and fits poorly). One outstanding Damascus barreled 16. There were two more full racks of 20's and 12's, with many more in the back. No idea where they are going to put them all. Prices ranged from $1700. for a decent Trojan to way-beyond-my-means thousands. Most of the better ones were 4K and up.

The ten or so that I handled all appeared to have mirror bores, some levers were right-of-center, several were left-of-center. Several appeared near-new. All locked up tight. Keep in mind that I am by no means an expert, but I would say that this is an outstanding collection with huge variety and with conditions varying from "shooter" to almost "as-new." I did not observe a single beater. It was overload for a double-gun enthusiast. I highly recommend that any of you in the area pay them a visit.

Padre was going to try and stop by, but I did not see him.

Other notables:
A 1957 Model 12 (16 ga. of course) that appears unfired.......$1100.

A near mint A. Fox (20 ga. if I remember correctly)........around 14K.

My Pudelpointer went with me and layed around the gun room while I fondled Parkers. Even he seemed impressed with them!

I don't smoke, but felt like I needed a cigarette when I walked out. Wink

David Moore at WilliamLarkinMoore today told me that the word he heard was that Ivory Beads picked up 140 guns Shocked from a collector in the midwest, most of which were Parker and classic American SxSs. Wow!

170 guns Shocked I'm just amazed that a collection like that appeared which gives hope that there might still be some nice shooters hidden away somewhere. My sense is that the ultra-collectibles, that I certainly couldn't afford anyway, pretty much stay under the radar however.

You can bet they are calling all the high end collectors and telling them of the stash, before they ever hit the website. I never got a call. Crying or Very sad

It was two collections. Not so sure about the behind the scenes theory....I saw a couple of guns that I would consider "ultra-collectible" on my visit there, before they hit the website. Trust me, it will take some time to get even a portion of that group photo'd and up on thier site.
