...been researching all over and cannot find any mention of Dad's quail gun.......where is it listed??..TNX, JB DeMotte, Boise, ID

The name simply means Liege United Gunmakers. I've seen their stuff before--pretty decent guns. A lot of their guns were imported under the "Centaure" name. Had one of their OU's in 20ga once. A lot like a Merkel, Kersten top bolt and a 3-piece forend.

If the gun is from the 50's, there should be a date code on the underside of the barrels. During that era, they used letters from the Cyrillic (Russian) alphabet. Should be just a single letter, all by itself. If you can find it and describe it, I can probably date it for you.

Belgian OU's, other than the Browning Superposeds, are not all that common. I'll bet it's a pretty nice gun.

Great info....WHERE is this info listed?......I've been to all the books, etc. and there is no info that describes the details I listed....according to the research, this particular gun does not exist...esp. dbl triggers.....HELP!
