I just found a 16 ga solid rib barrel for my pre-war 37 at the Fond Du Lac gun show Saturday. I no longer need the 28in mod plain barrel that I bought to replace the original poly choked barrel. I would like to get back the $85 that invested in the barrel. It is in need of a re blue as there is only blue on the bottom where the forearm protected. Sn on barrel is281169 with a 2 under the sn. I will pay the shipping to lower states.

Les Hovencamp of Diamond Gunsmithing can fit it to any year 16. I bought a 1940 20 gauge barrel that he fit to my 1957 M37. Les, as most know, was head gunsmith at Ithaca when it was in Ithaca. I wouldn't recommend Upper Sandusky Ithaca because they alter the receiver requiring re-bluing and are more expensive.
