I have been on the Simpson LTD exploring as of late. I seem to be finding a lot of Spanish boxlocks by numerous makers in the $250-$300 area. These are all 12 gauge.
The descriptions of the guns seem to offer many without wood cracks or barrel dents.
I am tempted as a I think I need a rough duty gun
I have owned several Spanish guns and have found them good values. (Mostly, dont get me started on my AYA#2)
However has any one here purchased a Spansih gun in that price range from Simpson LTD?
Any insight would be great. |

I have no knowledge of the Spanish guns they have listed, but over the years I have bought three Merkel M 8s, a Simpson, Geco, and a J P Sauer from them (latter three all on Merkel frames) and all have been better than advertised as to condition.
Always answered any questions promptly and been very helpful.

Yes, and they are perfectly serviceable rough duty guns. I've bought dozens of guns from them and they are great to deal with. |
