UncleDanFan,

Got to admit I have a LeFever that puts down the Grouse every bit as well as my Sauer 16 Grouse gun. I use 2 1/2" shells in both guns, love them both.

Dave,

Are you doing a little "pre-season" grouse hunting? Shocked I thought you just picked up that Sauer this past May?

UC,
My point was the LeFever puts down birds as well as the J.P. ! Have not killed a wild Grouse with the Sauer yet, only stocked stuff & clays. Will let you know come Grouse season how the gun preforms in my hands in the Grouse woods.

Pine Creek Dave mentions "wild" grouse. Is there any other kind? Shocked

I can't wait to shoot my first grouse! Speaking of other guns though I finished my list. Picked up a husqvarna 16 with hammers 103 cs and a greener 12 with the greener safety and cross bolt. Woohoo!

Max Smoke,

For many years WVU & Penn State have been trying to raise them, not working vey well at all. Grouse do not take to domesticated life.

67 Gal,

Real nice guns sir, have fun with them!
