I haven’t but I want to. I will purchase some this off season because I always like trying new shells.

Updated field report.
I’ve been absolutely hammering the snipe lately with these shells and today I switched back to the RGLs just for kicks. First off, I realize everyday is different and actual field results can vary widely with changing weather conditions and wild flushing birds plus I can be off also as the shooter but with that being said, whereas as of
of late I’ve had no crips at all with the Kent’s. I mean zero. I’ve been stoning them but today I start cripping birds. Huh? That’s weird.
So afterwards I tried something out. A redneck pattern board test. Side of a barn with a piece of tin roofing for a target.
Yep!
No doubt about, the Kent’s diamond shot patterns way tighter than the RGLs.
This is out of Browning Sweet Sixteen, 26” barrel with a trulock modified extended choke at 20 paces.
Without counting pellets and drawing circles you could just tell by looking at the two patterns there was a difference. Both were fairly even across the board and the RGLs were maybe a tad low. Could’ve been an aiming issue. Anyway both work well and I’ll keep using both however I did have to change my ring setting to the light loads for the Kent’s. I was getting random stove pipe ejections but once I switched the rings everything is mucho better.

I have been shooting these shells for a few years. I think they work great. Early in the year, I shoot them out of both barrels. Later in the year I put a Fiocchi HV with an 1 1/8 oz in the left barrel. I buy mine from Ballistic Products, I think they are out of Minnesota. They do a good job as long as I do my part.

I have used the Kents, but will take the Super X 16's any day for pheasants. I have shot a lot of birds with it and it's my load of choice . The boxes of Ultimate Uplands I had varied greatly in shot size. As for recoil, not sure. I do know that the 1 1/4 oz Fed Premium load thumps on both ends!
