The Ringneck is a fairly straight forward Anson & Deeley boxlock action that any competent gunsmith could probably tune the triggers on without any difficulty whatsoever. I've done all my own Ringneck triggers using the procedures taught by Jack Rowe. If I had an AKUS trigger plate action needing trigger work, I would not attempt to do it myself, nor would I send/take it to any gunsmith to learn on. I've looked inside there and I'm with Jack Rowe in saying I'll keep my mitts out of there. I know the guy to send it to, I've seen his work, and I have all the confidence in the world it would be de done correctly and at a reasonable price. That's this old fart's opinion. |
