The English grip is intriguing. Did you notice the grain in the butt stock despite the machine oil soaked in? Very pretty wood for a regular shotgun. |

I have seen other straight stock Rem 11s. The Rem 11 can be a really good auto.
As many know It is the Browning Auto 5 action only made by Remington. |

I believe all of the early guns with the suicide safeties were straight stock , as with the early belgium made A5's. |

That is a C grade, or Trap Grade, depending on which catalog described it at the time. Early on the grades were described by letter, A, B, C, D, E, or F.
Only the C grade had the straight stock. It’s fairly rare to find, actually.
Stocks are upgraded to English Walnut.
I’ve never seen it in a sub gauge, only 12. They are most common in the era of the “suicide safety” (pre 1928ish), but could have been ordered anytime during production.

I have only seen Model 11 straight-grips in pictures. I do have an early A5 16 with straight grip. Mine functions fine, but needs cosmetic improvement (not picture-worthy). Others here have provided pictures of some straight grip A5 16's that are really nice. |

A straight-gripped M11-16 would be a neat gun to have. I sure enjoyed my M11. |
