I've never understood the logic behind listing a gun for sale for triple what it could be expected to bring on the market. But I see this often on Gunbroker.
The same seller has a nice looking Light 12 A5 listed for $800, so he must have some idea what a gun like this is worth. |

A lot of those guys do that just to get you to look at their other listing. It's a advertising gimmick. |

What's worse is that every now and then, some mullet will come along and actually pay that. Then that just validates the seller's crazy prices, and they start thinking everything is made of gold. |

Several years back I followed a 16 ga AYA that was way overpriced. But eventually after what seemed like a year, someone bought it. Patience trumps insanity. |
