Does any one out there know of any newly manufactured 16 gauges besides the new Browning Sweet 16 ?

I am becoming "old school" and want to revert to the gauge I grew up on.

God bless you all.

Browning also offers a pump action 16, along with an over under. Franchi and a few other manufacturers also offer double barrel 16's.

The few remaining Spanish makers still build 16ga SxS guns. Requires a lot of money these days for even an entry level gun. William Larkin Moore, John Boyd at Quality Arms and Field Sport are good places to start for new Spanish guns.

FAIR and RFM are a couple Italian makers as well. Quite affordable too.

You can order a custom made Dickinson 16 ga through Dickinson for in nearly any configuration you require. Price would be in the sub $2000 range which is a real bargain for a custom made gun.

I checked into Fausti, and they will make a custom DEA 16 ga for about $3500.

Both these options are a bit more complicated than going down to your local gun store and buying one off the rack, but they are available for those interested.

Franchi has new 16 O/U. 5.8 lb. Waiting for one to come in to my dealer. I saw the 20 gauge and it's pretty plain. Might need some work to clean it up appearance wise.

I believe the CMC guns (Fox, Model 21, A10, etc.) are still being made. Nothing inexpensive about them though.

Do you have your heart set on a brand new gun? If not, there are a great many choices on the used gun market. Pumps, autos, single barrels, over/ under, and classic double guns. Many of these can be had for not much money and are very good guns. There are also a few choices that easily rival the financial obligation of a mortgage!

Oh, I should add the Tristar O/U is available too. I did own one in .410. It was not a long lasting or happy affair.

Welcome! Measure your length of pull and search used guns too. There are a lot of 16's out there.

You also might find a CZ Ringneck out there in 16 gauge. They discontinued it when they changed to the Sharptail.

I am waiting for my Dickinson from the custom shop. Should be hear soon.
