Home and sick so I got bored and started looking at gun parts on e-bay. Listed by a gun parts vendor is a used 16 gauge barrel set for an Ithaca model 100/150. It baffles me, I can find no reference to such a gun ever existing. Any clues as to whether one was ever offered?

Beware, looks like a sweated assembly and no extractor
But perhaps

They may have just sleeved a 12 gauge barrel. I have a 20-gauge SKB/Ithaca 100, a sweet little gun, but that eBay barrel looks like a pig.

I was kind of thinking the same thing, custom application, never fitted and finished to a gun. Metal finish is mismatched enough to support the theory of tubes sweated into a mono bloc. Perhaps a customer ordered it then welched on the whole deal.

Dan Lee is right. I too have a skb 100 and have had 4 other ones over the years and none of them look or looked like that. but the guy does have good feedback numbers. That would make sweet iron if it is true.

Interesting set of barrels.
The monobloc is pure SKB, no doubt. The ribs appear to be legit. The fore end loop, ditto. It doesn't look like the sleeving was a bad attempt. Likely a 12 ga. bloc. The extractor would have to be fabricated for the 16 ga and is not there.

If this was on a 20 ga. monobloc it would be sweet indeed, I think that would be quite a trick! If it's a 12 Ga. monobloc then other than having a 16 ga Ithaca/SKB there wouldn't be any advantage over the 12, going backwards maybe.
