Have any of you used the Pachmayr PowerPac chokes?
I just found a couple of the tubes and a tool in a box of old parts. There is one marked SHORT RANGE and one marked MEDIUM RANGE.
It looks like an interesting system, but I've never had a shotgun with that set up.

They are fine for the era in which they were used.
Very versatile and effective

I have a 12 ga J C Higgins Model 20 with the power pak system. Works fine. Some say because the tube extends down into the body that they can strip off petals from plastic wads. I have not had that issue.
If you have no use for them, see Corsons barrels. They buy and sell them. They have some value. 16 ga is rarer and it might be worth your checking. |

Thanks, guys. I will probably just sell them or find someone who can use them. I wouldn't make much sense to buy a shotgun for them, ha!
I just looked at Corson's and they do bring a pretty stiff price there, $50 each!
Thanks,
