You need to correct your post Bobski! Why would I donate 12ga shells to a 16ga shoot?
I have a case of 16ga Rem.game loads for the 1st place winner! Laughing

I haven't bought any 12ga shells since about 2006 or maybe 2007.

congrats to duckup for being the 1st 16gacom member to commit to the shoot!
atta boy duckup....lets get some more!

some here know my mission in life is to care for my aging parents. my wifes mother passed in 2017, so the need to go to ark twice a year has faded away.

my mother is still alive in conn, so go 4 times a year to check on her.
thus why i live in va. it is right in the middle.

this is why im at the farm twice a year now. we use it for a respit and gather friends to do some shooting. im one of those guys who can only yak it up so much, before i go bonkers on the www, then the need to shoot something finally wins out. i hate to see this range go to seed, but i am getting some use out of it. and having you guys come to shoot, does my heart good to see it being used.
so come be our guests and enjoy what you can. this is a low score meet. winning is an afterthought.
those that go to matches to win at all cost, would be disappointed here. we dont cut each others throats to be top dog. we're more interested in seeing you all have a good time and relaxing. so load up and come join us guys.
at least we have running water ac and heat! :>

just ask byron. he'll tell ya.
heck, if you forget something, we even have a lost and found. if you come back...itll be handed to you! right, byron? :>

Yes that is true! Last fall I left a box of 16ga shells there at the club and last week when I got there for the spring shoot they were on the counter with my name on them! The heat was welcome especially on Friday evening when we would shoot one round of trap and go in out of the wind to warm up a bit before shooting some more. Laughing

remember gang. the reason these meets are so cheap is....its held on your own donations. the more you give the more winners get.

and too, most other groups that have come were beginners and novices. i would venture to say most of you are veteran shooters who have been around the block a few times already, so if you guys want to have (purses) introduced, just ask.

like this ....i go down the line and everyone drops in a 5 spot during the annie oakley shoot. last man standing, splits the take 50/50 with the club. follow me?
no its not gambling. its called playing a purse. in the trap community its called a lewis purse.

another interesting game is dollar targets.
during skeet, everyone on the squad puts 25.00 in the ref's hat. as you shoot and miss, its one less dollar you get back at the end of the game.
high score splits the hat 50/50 with the club

lmk.

I guess 10A Saturday is as good as any. Guessing Friday's workload this far out is impossible.
