According to CSS barrel date code, this shotgun was built in April of 1947. Metal is good, not great, and stock shows a lot of use, including a solid repair at the top of the wrist. Action is as smooth as you expect a Model 31 to be and the 28-inch full-choke barrel looks new inside. Wear sunglasses when using a bore light!
Asking $260 and $30 shipping to your FFL or curio and relic license.
With good medal, a replacement stock should turn it into an efficient bird collector. Clay birds or the edible variety. I just picked one up a few weeks ago from a member here, couldn't be happier with it. Except for that, I would be interested in this one myself. GLWTS
