You hit the nail on the head, all the loads, chokes, shot size and all the stuff we yip about doesn’t mean squat unless you can reliably place the pattern on the target.

Really.....shooting a 24/25 with a 'blue' gun? Have you no shame! Next your going to tell us it was a twelve gauge. Some people.... Wink

I hit most birds with many different gauges...so they must all be square loads. Nonetheless....shooting a sixteen is different....kind'a like shooting a twentyeight.

It doesn’t come in a 16. Papa Smurf does eat recoil with the Kick-Off system. Works better than an o/u that weighs a pound more and has an Isis recoil reducer. At least its a pretty blue? And that beautiful wood grain is “enhanced” with stain.
