youre willing to comepte against known aaa professional shooters on the net?
I must decline only out of respect, because odds are I can out shoot the vast majority of all of you. Wink
im hoping you sorta see what im saying and apply it to the goal of your postal match.

just like other forums where they have bullseye postal matches. whos to say the guy isn't 2 feet away from the target?

don't get me wrong. I understand the purpose of cyber social games and the geographical obstacles of real matches and travel. but....without ref's and umps....its a free for all.

now you understand why in invite people to my range. its monitored, witnessed, and prizes are awarded. it has form, function, and purpose.

if cyber matches get buddies to go out to a local range, that's a positive. but worrying about scores, takes away from it.

this is why larger organizations (register scores)....all scores are certified true.
without it, its one big cat fight.

s-clays as mentioned isn't a fair platform. skeet and trap is more uniform and will do better, but again, you must deal with weather and free 'gimmie un-regulated.

cyber anything tends to take away from authenticity. call me old fashion. id rather travel and do it for real.
whats next? cyber hunts?

just my opinion, nothing else, hope it helps.

Bobsk I agree with you about accountability. I shoot much registered trap. I only shoot a 16. I been hanging on the 25 pad for a while now.
I also go to different club's mainly to play game. 3 to 4 times a week. As luck would have it my shooting this year's at the club's has cost me almost nothing cause I take my winnings to replace my loading components. 16 ga. Is the only gauge I shoot even at games. Trophy's I care less about. They don't pay the bill. Without money games I would be out of the shooting sport.

I have helped with church groups to put on shoots but refuse to participate in the game because it would not be fair.
I do agree that the shoot mentioned should be trap & skeet only.

bill, you and I think alike. its why I don't shoot at my own meets I hold at my range.

hal, ya know.....what would be more interesting than shooting 16ga guns and posting scores....?

how about whoever can get the most people to pose a pic on a skeet or trap range around the poster, wins something.

like this......

I am continuing the plan and using many ideas you submitted.

There will be NO ENTRY FEE! Only local target costs.

I am soliciting awards which will be given on a random draw from all participants rather than high scores.

Everyone would receive a participation certificate

Scores will not be submitted or posted

Re-entry would be permitted with a gun or game change.

Events would be 50 targets: Sporting Clays, Trap, Skeet, or 5 Stand.

Only true 16 gauge guns may be used.

More details to come. Stay tuned

Hal sounds like fun, I will try and get a couple of guys to do it with me , I will have to loan some of them a 16ga, which is no problem .

Not a serious event , so no need to lie about your scores . Not that I think anybody will.
