Cold Iron, let us know the weight when finally done. Be interesting to see how much lighter it is once you are finished. My 26 inch was 5-13 from factory. I would expect a shorter barrel and modified stock to shave 2-4 oz off. Thanks

What was the cost to have the barrel shortened?

Bring your Sweet to the 16 Gauge Shoot next spring and we’ll have a setup with FREE barrel shortening. Using a Sawzall and some emery cloth shouldn’t take but a few minutes total. Your welcome.

Hey, that thing looks familiar! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't missing it. I keep thinking about picking up a 26" version and doing a straight stock like you're thinking of doing.

Do it! Very Happy Thinking about doing the same and keeping this as a hunting only gun. And a few rounds of skeet with it before season opens. I did promise you pictures when I was finished and will. But so far very happy and thank you very much! Really enjoyed shooting clays with it this summer.
