Bobski discussed it with me and he said that he was not going to be doing that after all the time he involved promoting this shoot resulted in the negative chatter and only one other 16ga shooter showed up. Of course he won the HOA at the shoot.
I was disappointed in the low turnout of 16ga shooters myself. But overall we had the best turnout since i have been going to this shoot. It is showing to be a great family event to kid your kids involved in clay target shooting and that is what we need to help protect the future of the sport. Bobski is a great instructor for new shooters and his work is why new people keep showing up at his range.

look. the first meet was an assist for byron. he thought enough of you all to invite the local 16ga guys to come shoot with us. i also had about 10 other websites come to 16ga.com to see the latest updates. i also did this because the 16.com website is so old...it loads on my xp on dial up with no issues.
i also did it to bring other forum members here and promote an interest to 16ga.com.
youre welcome.
i will no longer ask, pm, email, or blog the meet. nor will i send others here to help keep you afloat.
i posted it. thats it.
if something important needs to be posted, i will.
my high respect goes to rking22.
he did what he said he would do and his reward was he won.
so, if you guys want to come to my home and shoot, pm or email me.
be glad to have you.
but i aint hawkin it.
old navy seal saying...."dont give me 99 reasons you cant do something, give me the 1 reason you can." i still like to associate with those kind of people.
take care byron. i promised id help you.....you saw the results.
stay in touch. see you on the other sites as well.

If I drag my travel trailer over for the shoot, are there facilities on site or nearby that have power and water?

i have free water and free elec for 2 trailer spots on camp 1..., whoever gets to them first.
i have 2 people that bring 22' trailers. both get to hook up power and if i put a splice on the garden hose spigot, both get water.
so its a race.
all others will need to go rustic on camp 2 thru 5.

how bigs yours?

one ticket for a trailer has been secured.
whoever secures the ticket first gets the spot.

ok, #10 just signed up. we will have a meet.

rm, you trailer guys would know better than me, but, can you feed off another trailers external power outlet and get power off the trailer closest to the pole?
if so, all youd have to do is park side by side to one of the other guys trailer nearest the pole and make sure you both dont run the microwaves at the same time.
follow me?

Hopefully we will have normal April weather this time! Not the cold wind and snow we had last April. Exclamation
