Just received my Sure Cycle action kit. How difficult is it to replace the 70 year old unit that is on the gun?
Thanks!

I managed it and its all I can do to change a light bulb. IIRC, I watched Art's video about 6 times and muddled my way through. Since then, my gunsmith does my action spring work and most everything else. I appreciate skilled labor and I'm willing to pay for it! Best wishes! |

It’s pretty simple. Just make sure you have the correct screwdrivers to fit the thin slots in Auto 5 screws. Art’s videos are good. There was once a field service manual for Auto 5s that I found through google. I’ll see if I can locate it and post a link. |

Thanks everyone! I watched Arts video and had the correct screwdrivers.
Easy Peasy! New recoil spring and action spring! Good for another 70 years!
Arts videos are the best!
