Just received my Sure Cycle action kit. How difficult is it to replace the 70 year old unit that is on the gun?

Thanks!

Matt

I managed it and its all I can do to change a light bulb. IIRC, I watched Art's video about 6 times and muddled my way through. Since then, my gunsmith does my action spring work and most everything else. I appreciate skilled labor and I'm willing to pay for it! Best wishes!

Thanks Beagleman! I'll look for Arts video.

It’s pretty simple. Just make sure you have the correct screwdrivers to fit the thin slots in Auto 5 screws. Art’s videos are good. There was once a field service manual for Auto 5s that I found through google. I’ll see if I can locate it and post a link.

Found it. It is available as a pdf through Midwest Gun Works.

Thanks everyone! I watched Arts video and had the correct screwdrivers.
Easy Peasy! New recoil spring and action spring! Good for another 70 years!

Arts videos are the best!
