Only if they bring out a one piece case instead of the paper base wad case they have now. Would be nice to load them until the crimps are gone without having to worry about sending a base wad up the tube. I think the Federals crimp fine plus you can load heavy loads without high pressure.

We could dream for a 16ga Gold Medal...... But the purple paper-base hull is a good one for me. I would prefer to have them un-primed but would like to see them for sure either way. I wish Federal would sell those 16ga shotcups they load in them as well.......

Here I go thinking with my........wallet again. The price would have to be in line--I also load rifle/pistol and have run across some good deals with factory primed brass and some not so good. The one advantage here is that they would be using the 209A thus eliminating the standard/magnum primer debate.

Only if it was a one piece hull, a la Gold Medal.

I'd settle for a Federal shell with a plastic base wad.

yeah if the price was right. I am loading federals now with 209A primers SP wad 1-1/8 #6 and 24.9 gr. of longshot they get the job done real nice althought the crimps are not the best unless I run a over shot card then they are real nice.

I, too, would be interested in their standard purple 'game load' hull being sold separately....especially if it didn't contain that super-hard primer cup material they've gone to.....must be made of kryptonite Rolling Eyes

Yes I would. If it was the paperbase hull I would buy sparingly. With plastic base I would use exclusively.
