Does anyone on here have any experience with Pro Reach Powder? Did a general search on here and didn't come up with much. I see it having potential in the 16ga.

Have read on other forums that it is approximately equivalent to Longshot in weight/volume and performance. I purchased #1 of it the other day, looks like a flake powder roughly similar to Herco or Greendot in size so should meter well and not migrate much, its pretty dense, the typical #1 Alliant bottle is ~1/2 full.

Looked at several 1250fps Longshot recipes and averaged the powder drops and shorted it as a starting point then swapped in an equal amount of Proreach...looks like I have an option for my Trap/Winter long range target recipe, hope it patterns well. PR tested....

RGL, Ched209, 20.5 Proreach, SP16, 1oz #7.5 lead, 6 fold

1255, SD6, EV17
7872, SD72, EV450

Listed LS pressures were higher averaging in the mid 9k's but the speed is spot on.
