So I have a chance to buy this gun at $1350.00.
Would I be doing ok? It says pheasants forever on ejection port side with a small pheasant and a decent size flushing pheasant on the other side. Looks gorgeous and doesn’t appear to have been shot at all. Still has a barrel stick on it.
Any advice? |

Buy it if you like it. The Pheasants Forever moniker adds little to the value unless it remains NIB.
Maybe to a passionate PF guy it means something. |

Is the seller listing it as NIB? You don't say if its in the black plastic case with the extra tubes wrench.papers, outside box for shipping, etc. I would guess right now you could get a new regular field one for @1200,maybe a little less so if having the pheasant engraving is appealing to you, go for it. And then pics please |

In box with papers , choke tubes, everything as if I bought it from the store.
The barrel still has the sticker on it.

They are $1450 at my local shop. $1200 is a bargain. |

Uh Oh that emoil has me wanting to ask more, LOL. Love how mine is setup for grouse now thanks to Briley and UncleDanFan with 23" and POW grip for grouse.
But a 26" or rather a 16 ga. for ditch chickens.. No. Period. Not wild ones with feathers of Kevlar.
Ruff Grouse yes.
Tempting but when in SD the first couple first weeks of Nov. phez hunting want 1 1/4 oz. of #5 for wild birds. Not even open for debate you can't get there from here. But the Factory OEM Sweet is such a great shooting gun.. And just plain fun to shoot.
IIRC you were the one that got Browning to donate one to the Sweet 16 shoot last year and I kind of hogged it. And during the flurry we were the only squad to not let a bird hit the ground. And we were the shortest squad of everyone shooting. What a fun gun to shoot! I blame you |

Proud to say I was a part of that flurry, and man that was fun! What struck me that day was how fast these SW16's would acquire the random targets. It became a race to smoke each target as they appeared. |
