I have 4 16's, an Aya sxs, a Zabala sxs and 2 Ithaca model 37's.
The sxs's both get used every year hunting, the pumps not every year but once in a while, mostly shooting clays |

I only have 5 16 gauge shotguns. Three modern brownings(an A5 and two Citoris), a Winchester 24 and a Stevens 311.
Nothing special. |

I have those three 16ga's listed below, but use an old 12ga Stevens pump as my turkey gun. All have been used for birds at one time or another except for the Bland and the A5. Both of those are new to me since last season. After I get the LOP corrected on the Bland, I have high expectations for it as my go to 16ga for light upland work. I think the A5 SW16 will likely find it's way into my preferred gun for dove and beyond. However, the one that always seems to be my safety net when shooting clays or birds, isn't a 16, it's the shorty 12ga Superposed. It just seems to always shoot where I look the best. Wish I had one of those in 16ga. |
