Claybuster has very limited reloading data for this wad. The volume in the CB0078-16 is bigger than the DR-16 and, therefore you can't substitute one for the other.
I'm looking for reloading data for Federal and Herter's (Fiocchi) shells. I would prefer those using Hogdon International powder with Universal my second choice.
Thanks in advance. I know others have dealt with this issue and can provide good advice. |

My experience with both the DR-16 and the CB0078-16.......the DR-16 fits the 3/4 and 7/8 oz. loads in any hull you want to use. The CB0078-16 works best in the Remington hull.
The reason will be powder migration with some powders, unless you manipulate the overpowder cup.
Just MHO. |

I have a process for the claybuster wad migration problem. I have not had a problem in 3 years since i started the process.
I can understand not using claybuster wad if a person dont want to take a second to do.. but otherwise you can save a hell of a lot of money for loads from 7/8's to 1 1/4 oz. |

Herters 16ga are cheddite hulls, not Fiocchi. At least the 16 flats I bought last year are. |
