"Beautiful gun, Cold Iron. Good luck with the shot on Thursday."
Beauty it is. Don't know if I got all the drool wiped off before I gave it back to him. |

WHY is everyone copying another's posting and dumping it down and then one or two lines of comment after that????????????????????????????
YOU know there are only so many letters allowed on the internet and then the Black Hole forms

Did you forget to take your happy pills this morning, Mike? |

No, but if you look at page 2 of this thread you will see what I was talking about.
Being retired, I do not have much time to read postings, what with, hunting, fishing, shooting, reloading, there is only so much time in the day.
I feel sure you understand
SweetAndNot16, you are OK in my book, enjoying your perspectives. |

LOL Mike, hey I did edit my reply to keep from re-quoting. Then again I keep telling the kids at work that just because they have a graphical user interface doesn't mean they are a programmer. The least they could do with HTML is open notepad and edit... I don't expect others to do so though. Besides I use Notepad++ my fav-o-rite text editor.
SweetAndNot16 you picked a great place to jump in on the internet. You will not find a better group of guys. Many of us are retired Military I find that also interesting. And in part because of that most have some pretty solid convictions. But don't let this "Vintage" group scare you, like I said you will be hard pressed to find a better group to hang out with And you are doing fine! I am the Technical Specialist for the Electronic Content Management Team at the worlds No. 1 ranked Hospital, you can trust me. I was on recruiting duty not only once but twice too LOL.
John Singer does know his stuff, he moved here not too long ago but having met him in person several times I am most impressed with his knowledge. And look forward to shooting with him more he is one heck of a shot. Although I didn't even know he owned anything except 16 gauge guns until his post on here. He has one of my 16's to work on right now. I trust him totally, and I don't trust many with my guns.
Dave Erickson I am looking forward to shooting next Tuesday in Wisconsin with you! Duluth was to long ago already. I was approved to take time off from work today for it, hope the weather holds. We need to take our Sweet 16's and shoot them on at least a couple of stations. Also need a picture of the 2 most unique Sweet 16's in existence sitting next to each other |

And thank you again very much for all the running around and QA you did with it. I am looking at it right now |

Not that it wasn't spot on, I just found your post amusing and a bit out of character for the normally "my cup is always half-full" skeettx. Keep on keepin' on. |

Of course I understand. Like I said, any advice is more than welcome. I've got thick skin.
I'll make sure to try to refrain from excessive copying. |

Oh, everybody has been great so far. Besides, I've always got along with the older generation more anyway. |

Great picture, Brother! You should be smiling though.
And Mike, (Skeettx), you made me laugh this evening. That was about the meanest and nastiest post I've ever read from you on any site. I hope you have a better day tomorrow. Hahaha! |

Thanks, I do my bestest
I was reading all the threads just after I got a message that TinyPic was deleting ALL my photos
So that now makes Hunt101, Photobucket, and TinyPic a thing of the past.
By the way, what did you do for your BIRTHDAY?? |

Mike, I spent the day with my 14 yo son. Had a great time. But the best was when we went out for dinner.
He has his first paying job this summer, something he's wanted to do for the last couple years but his mom and i wouldn't let him until this summer. Too young with other things still to experience. But this year we said okay.
So feeling a little flush with cash, when the bill came, he wanted to pay for my birthday dinner. Complete surprise to me and it wasn't a cheap dinner. Made me very proud of him. |

canvasback I haven't smiled in any of my pictures for a long time, think it a hold over from the military. You are correct I should be smiling. That was awesome about your son paying for your birthday dinner, you have every right to be proud! And happy belated birthday to you brother canvasback. Only 5 weeks to go until grouse opener here and I am hoping we can meet once again someplace in the woods. I will gladly cook another steak for you. Prime grade of course
skeettx I left photobucket a long time ago they always were nothing more than a virus site. I went to Flickr about 5 years ago and have been very happy. They are free up to 1,000 pictures and then charge $50 a year for more than that. And it is worth it to me for the peace of mind. Good luck on your data migration and organization, hope it is the last one you have to do. |
