Just purchased a new Franchi Instinct SL. I'm super excited to try it out tomorrow on doves. Time to start burning some ammo. When I went to Scheel's to purchase it they said they had four in stock but expected they'd move quickly as all their 16's seem to move fast. It's great to hear that the interest is growing. |

The ones I looked had bad wood. Could be a great gun dressed up a bit. You don't want to take an ugly girl to the prom. |

I had the same concern but walked into Scheels and they had several available and I found one with great wood. I was so impressed I purchased. I would post a pic but current camera on the phone isn't working. |

I bought one, which was my first O/U as well as gateway into the world of 16 gauge. As a lifelong 12g shooter, it is amazing how light it is. Fit and finish are very good, but I agree that if anyone finds chokes, please share! |

I used it last weekend on a dove/grouse hunt in WI. It was so easy to carry. I was surprised at how easy it was to shoot. No grouse but connected on some doves. I look forward to the pheasant fields this fall. |

Found choke tubes! Midwest gun works has them. Trulock extended and flush. I don't understand why Trulock would tell me they don't make them but yet when I find tubes they are Trulock? Im Just happy I found them. |

I'm really curious if these will fit the 16 Gauge FAIR guns.
rumor has it that FAIR makes the 16GA for Franchi.
for $35, I'm tempted to order one and try it. |

Great first post and welcome to 16ga.com
I'd think there is a really good chance they will. FAIR has made the Technichoke tubes and threads for at least 20 years now, there are several European companies that outsource the chokes to them especially subgage. Newer Franchi 12 ga. guns use Beretta Mobil chokes but the 20 and 28 are known to be FAIR Technichoke. So if I was to bet on it I'd say the 16 ga. are also. |

Double check that imp mod when you get it. I ordered 2 IC chokes and got an IMP MOD in a IC package. Where did you find skeet? Midwest doesn't list them.
Yes the 16ga are made by F.A.I.R. |

Thanks for the heads up. Both the chokes I received were the ones I ordered. |

Same thing happened to me....
Package marked IC actually contained a IM choke. |
