Well I made the 5+ hour round trip to Kjergaard sports in SW MN this morning and returned home with a slightly used A5 with 28” barrel and a few handling marks in the wood. Being I don’t upland hunt and only waterfowl hunt I’m sure it will have a few more blemishes added. Fit like a glove right out of the box and functioned with some herters loads. All in all I’m happy so far. I like it better than the Ithaca 37 I traded off and at the used price saving some Benjamin’s helped as well.
Now to get my #3 steel reloads on the patterning board and find some boss or hevi #4 factory loads.
