No mention of this online that I can find, but the latest issue of Gun Dog magazine highlights Browning's introduction of 16 gauge steel shells:
Specs say "15/16 oz. of shot at 1,350 fps, the loads contain premium round, plated shot, and wads designed to contain the shot and reduce the chance of damaging older guns from steel-shot damage. $20-24 per 25." |

too slow for steel for me. If they would get that up to 1450 or more, then we would be in business. But no matter, the Kent or Rio Bismuth works better anyway for me. |

I called Browning and talked with the ammo rep.
They are NOT being made yet, and do not expect to hit the
marketplace until November or maybe December or maybe??

Thanks, Mike. I'll quit looking for it when I'm in stores that carry Browning Ammo. |

12 & 20 Ga are listed in Mackspw new catalog. On the Winchester page, with $50 rebate on a case and $100 rebate on two.
If they have the 16's, you can bet your bippy, there's no rebate. No doubt, made by Winchester. |

Isn’t this essentially the same load that federal offers? |
