I like the herters hull. But load the same as super x and cheddite.
My reloads are much more efficient at breaks on targets than the super x. Better than the herters also. The super x factories are junk. |

I found them very comparable to the Herters . which were ok for short range targets |

Have reloaded a bunch of them. While they look like the same hull as a Herters the Winchester has better quality plastic. I measured the thickness on both and they are exactly the same.
I can only get 4-5 reloads with Herters and some hulls start to split in the crimp folds after the second reload. The Winchesters are good for 7-8 reloads with all the hulls lasting to this point, no hulls get early splits like the Herters do.
I have bought them at Walmart for $9.17/box. The sale above is the best price I have ever seen. |

Agree, I get lots of splits on a Herters hulls, after 2-3 loadings. |

Definitely get more reloads out of the Winchesters compared to any other of the Cheddite hulls even the new ones. |

I don't mean the hulls are bad . What I meant to say is the factory load is only good for 16yd on trap. Forget using them back to to 40yd behind the trap house if yor shooting games.
I shoot a 1oz load from 16yrd trap all the way back to where ever they pick for shootoffs.
The super- x would be ok if your shooting skeet. But I wouldnt use them for anything else except just to get the hulls. |
