Mark, this is my favorite 3/4 oz load using the DR16 in a 2 1/2” Cheddite.
15.9 gr of International in front of a Ched 209. 1150 fps & 6200 psi
100+ year old frames and barrels love the pressure and the old wood loves the weight and speed.
Birds, however, clay or otherwise, do not! |

ShowMeSon,
I use that 3/4 oz International load a lot, esp for informal/fun clay with my vintage guns--barely any recoil. Like to use 7/8 oz with Universal and SG 16 on feathered ones. |

Wow, that sounds like a great load! My 130yr old Damascus Lefever thumb push would love that on the skeet field. Thanks for the tip. |
