All being well our wee club will have our first hunt of the season tomorrow ,it's been a horrible time lately the company I worked for went into administration and 1200 workers lost there jobs , Wrightbus who made the new Route master buses for London when Borris was Mayor , I have just finished my first week in a new job doing night shift for the first time and getting on ok , so really looking forward to getting out for a walkabout tomorrow with my good friends , we are just doing around the outskirts of our permissions so maybe not much shooting but good to get back at it and add a bit of normality to life again , and I will be carrying my 16ga tomorrow so better get off to bed here , I will let you all know how it goes ,all the best WJ 👍 |

Thanks Mike , latest news yesterday is that it has been bought out of administration by Jo Bamford of JCB digger family so hopefully a lot of jobs will come back with that , just have to wait and see |

Well guys I'm just back in from that first outing of the season and the first bird fell to the 16ga Jeffrey 😀 it turned into more of a dog training day , only four of us were out and only two shooting the other two were just wanting to work there dogs , James has a new Labrador pup coming on this year and wanted us to fire a shot or two at a distance , and it was all good the young one never flinched , we ended up with three cock Pheasants in the bag the other two falling to a 20ga Huglu o/u , all in all a gentle wee start to the season , just great to be back out at it again and I promise I will try and get some photos next time , hope everyone has a great season this year and keeps us all posted it's always good to hear what you are all up to , all the best WJ. |
