I am not a 16 owner yet, but soon. Actually it's not me it's my wife. I am buying her a 16 ga. A-5 for Christmas. I should be "pulling the trigger" on that one by the end of this week or early next week. I have been going over this and over this (Jeff can tell you how much I have been over thinking this) and yesterday I called my gun guy and told him to hold it for me. I went and visited the new gun today and determined with alot of help that it is a 1961 regular 16. The wood will need some TLC but I will revisit that issue when it arrives.
Really I just wanted to stop in and say Hi, and thanks for having me.

Welcome aboard Jeff, I imagine that pretty soon that you will be pulling the trigger on 16 ga for yourself also. It is cool that your wife is interested in shooting as well. You can get a lot of good advice here on what 16 would work for you.
Oh, by the way, I went to UT in Austin. But my heathen son did graduate from A&M.

HighCountry, so you have a house divided huh? It looks like i will be attending the pharmacy school in Austin in the fall, that or Amarillo. So same here kinda, but with more inner demons.
Jeff, well I figured if I am gonna do it I'd do it right.
Haylee only gets to shoot 1 or 2 days a week where i shoot 3-4days so i am sure i will be sneeking it out of the house now and again. |
